ABOUT US

Bryan Orander is President of All About Boards and Charitable Advisors. Charitable Advisors is a consulting practice based in Indianapolis, Indiana that focuses on expanding the capacity of local not-for-profits. Bryan works with individual organizations and groups of nonprofits in executive recruiting, strategic planning, organizational assessment and board development. Bryan started Charitable Advisors in 2000 with more than 20 years of experience in leadership, management and consulting.

Our Reason for Being is: 

"To support the Board and staff leadership of Indiana not-for-profits in increasing the capacity of their organizations to respond to the needs of their constituencies and communities."

The first 12 years of Bryan’s career were spent with a Fortune 50 computer company, followed by six years with a large Indianapolis-based not-for-profit, and three years as manager of not-for-profit consulting with a prominent local consulting firm before stepping out to begin Charitable Advisors in 2000. 

On the community level, Bryan publishes the Not-for-Profit e-News that is distributed to more than 7000 professionals in central Indiana each week, and is the publisher of the popular Too Rushed to Read Booklet Series distributed by All About Boards.
